With its delicate flowers, the orchid is one of the most popular houseplants worldwide and adds a real touch of style to any interior. The ORCHIDEA planter by LECHUZA was designed specifically for these elegant tropical plants and is perfectly tailored to the high demands of Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, and other orchids—and it’s not just your orchids that will love it!

For opulent blooms and healthy growth, a balanced interplay of water, light, and air is particularly important for the roots. To mimic the plants’ natural environment as closely as possible, the ORCHIDEA’s integrated Wick self-watering system has been fully tailored to the needs of orchids. The semi-transparent, removable plant liner ensures the roots receive sufficient light. In addition, we recommend the specially developed ORCHIDPON orchid substrate for a balanced supply of water and air, good nutrient retention, and a consistent pH level (sold separately). This way, the orchids feel right at home and are well cared for in every way!

With ORCHIDEA, anyone can easily become an expert! With just a glance at the Water level indicator, you can check how much water is left in the reservoir and whether it’s time to water again. This makes it easy to avoid waterlogging—a condition orchids cannot tolerate and that often causes problems during care. With its curved shape, the planter resembles a delicate petal and is a must-have for all orchid lovers.

The various color options of ORCHIDEA let these beautiful plants shine and fit into any home décor. Thanks to LECHUZA, orchids are stylishly displayed in the perfect setting and are an absolute eye-catcher on any windowsill.
